Premier Colin Barnett of Perth has scrapped plans to build a new football stadium (presumably that macho Aussie rules stuff) in favour of replacing Princess Margaret Children's Hospital. He states
"As I have said previously the Government makes no apology for putting schools and hospitals ahead of a new football stadium"
