Mothers, you may want to cover your daughters eyes for this one.
Tomorrow is our 43rd Wedding Anniversary. I was 18 and he was 22 when we were married. Fifteen months later Sion was born and twenty two months after that along came Samantha and Timothy. We've worked together for the past 25 years and he is truly the love of my life - I don't just say that.
Lest you think this is just a fairy tale well, we've had our ups and we've had our downs, we've had our fights and we've had our loving and do you know, I wouldn't change it for the world. When I listen to people spouting on about kids being too young to marry, wasting their youth etc. etc. I can honestly say that there has never been a day when I regret marrying "young".
So to the one I love, through thick and thin, sick and sin - cheers, I hope we have many more xxx

happy happy anniversary. when its right its right. but if you dont mind I will cover lilys ears I want to try keep her as long as possible. I think its an inspiration and a joy to hear of people who are so in love after such a long time and have stuck through ups and downs.
hope you have a wondeful day together
Thanks Wendy, I know times are different now and not every story has a happy ending. My gran was married at 16 and after seven children divorced her scoundrel of a husband - quite scandalous for those days.
Congratulations to you both, I hope you had a special day. Yours is truly a love story and something rare and wonderful in a world where most couples don't even make 5 years! I think one of the best things about having married and had children young, is that you are around to watch your grandchildren grow up. That is truly a blessing xxx
Hell and here was I feeling smug about our 36 years. Mind you I was, at the age of 26, quite on the shelf so to speak in those days. My poor mom thought she would never get rid of her daughters or ever be a granny! Well done you guys and it only gets better, doesn't it...and easier and more comfortable.
ready this made me sad to think my life ended at 13 years (14 together). But i know that somewhere out there will be someone who will look after me and I can still make that 43 years, the way it should be, through thick and thin and no running away by the other half. Well done guys, happy happy and we will jump up and down when you reach the big 50.
