Epic

On the way to work I listened to the 1812 Overture - twice. Good head banging music, but not the best cover version I've heard. On the way home I listened to Stairway to Heaven - yes, twice. That's when I realised what we've been missing musically the last decade.

"The Long Song"?

Why no more 8 minute masterpieces? Bohemian Rhapsody, Hotel California, Stairway to Heaven, American Pie. The ones guaranteed an audience.
I want to listen to the likes of Parisienne Walkways (?) I miss the zippy sound of fingers sliding down guitar strings and the really moving drum solo.
